(Woodland, CA) - CHOC is proud to be part of strengthening relationships that protect and uplift CHOC communities. Our Thanks to The Daily Democrat reporter Gerardo Zevala for capturing the spirit of Woodland Police Department’s “Paletas Con Policia” event held at CHOC's Casa Del Sol on July 16, 2021.

“(The Woodland Police team) is a vital community connection for our Casa Del Sol youth, and we look forward to these continued opportunities to work with them,” said CHOC Director of Youth and Family Services Terri Smyth Canillo.

Our sincere thanks to the CHOC Services staff and interns, Woodland Police Department officers, La Superior Mercado for donating a delicious supply of paletas and Rec2Go for bringing onsite games and fun interactive installations. CHOC wouldn't be able to create events like these without our community partners, we look forward to our next community collaboration with WPD.
