CHOC Real Estate Development has designed and built more than 25 multifamily affordable properties in California.
CHOC’s Real Estate Development division, led by VP Vince Nicholas, brings quality development expertise to site selection, acquisition, design, construction accounting, supervision, debt and equity structuring, and overall project management - highly complex and specialized services, all of which are crucial to navigating affordable housing funding programs.
Our division is well-versed in assisting smaller housing nonprofits through sponsorship, deal team assembly, and feasibility modeling to achieve affordability across California.
As a developer, CHOC successfully works with institutional partners to develop real estate projects such as housing for working families, child development centers, long-term care and senior assisted living, as well as other continuum of care projects.
Since 1984, CHOC has built a successful track record of serving institutional entities with complex real estate needs, such as multi-campus university and college systems, health care systems, and religious congregations and orders.
